In order to simulate the project which i am working on now, I need to connect both PLC program software (Concept2.6) and XBT-L1000 v4.5 (HMI software) to a real PLC with CPU 113 03. The reason I am doing this is because I do not have a Magelis touch screen.
After making the connection is solid, by changing the status of the program at the Concept2.6 end, the XBT-L1000 simulation window should react relatively to the change.
So far, I did connect the Concept2.6 to the real PLC, and now I am having a problem of communicating between XBT-10004.6 to the real PLC.

Hello,
We have a Siemens 300 PLC with CPU (local program). There's a Schneider (Telemecanique) Modicon XBT H011010 display connected with the CPU via an MPI-bus adapter. It's all working fine but now we need to change some alarm settings on the display.
We have a backup of the old configuration of the display. It's a file with extension *.mop. The file was created using XBT-L1000 V3.50 software. However, we don't have that software anymore, instead we have XBT-L1000 V4.42 software.
Now, when trying to open the *.mop file with XBT-L1000 V4.42 a message 'This is not an XBT-L1000 file' appears. The software is of a newer release so I would expect no problems.
What's going wrong? Could it be that our software or maybe the file is corrupt and can you suggest a possible solution.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Lode
